Ingredients
Salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
Teriyaki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Soy sauce
Honey or maple syrup
Ginger, grated
Garlic, minced
Sesame oil
Olive oil
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic. This is your glaze.
Brush about half of the teriyaki glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake the salmon for 10 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the fillets.
Return the salmon to the oven and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on fillet thickness.
Remove from the oven. Drizzle with a few drops of sesame oil.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving immediately.
Notes
For an extra bright flavor, use fresh lemon juice in your glaze.
You can cook this salmon in an air fryer for an even crispier finish; adjust time as needed.
