Get crispy chicken wings fast with your air fryer! These wings cook in only 15 minutes for a quick game night snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated (flats and drumettes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. This step helps them get crispy.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the dry wings with olive oil until lightly coated.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the wings and toss again until every piece is evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through the cooking time.
  8. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C) and the skin should be golden brown and crisp.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly dust the wings with 1 teaspoon of baking powder along with the seasonings.
  • If you prefer saucy wings, toss them with your favorite sauce immediately after they come out of the air fryer.
  • Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model.
