This warm, cheesy baked garlic bread dip blends roasted garlic, cream cheese, and mozzarella into a rich appetizer. Serve it hot with toasted crostini for a perfect party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, plus 1/2 cup for topping
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/4 cup roasted garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted for serving (crostini)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch oven-safe skillet or small baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Spread the cheesy mixture evenly into your prepared skillet or baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the dip.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden brown.
  6. While the dip bakes, slice your baguette and toast the slices until crisp to make crostini.
  7. Remove the dip from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  8. Serve the hot bread dip immediately with the toasted crostini for dipping.

Notes

  • For deeper flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw minced garlic in the dip base.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture up to 24 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate, then add 5-10 minutes to the baking time if baking straight from the fridge.
  • This creamy dip pairs well with sturdy crackers or vegetable sticks if you run out of crostini.
