Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1/2 lemon, sliced (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, and black pepper until well combined. This is your glaze.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon or brush the honey garlic butter glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. For crispier skin, you can briefly place it under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon slices.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, pat the salmon skin very dry with paper towels before placing it on the baking sheet.
If you prefer a thicker glaze, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch into the glaze mixture before brushing it on.
This recipe works well with air frying; cook at 380°F (195°C) for 10-12 minutes.
