Ingredients
Scale
4 large Granny Smith apples
1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup mini marshmallows
Optional: A sprinkle of flaky sea salt
Instructions
Wash and core the apples. Slice them thinly crosswise into rounds. Arrange the apple slices closely together on a large platter to mimic a flat nacho base.
In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips separately. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Drizzle the melted dark chocolate generously over the apple slices.
Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer.
Warm the caramel sauce slightly if it is too thick, then drizzle it evenly over the chocolate.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts and mini marshmallows over the top.
If desired, add a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt for extra flavor contrast.
Serve immediately while the apples are crisp and the chocolate is slightly soft.
Notes
Choose crisp apples like Granny Smith for the best texture contrast.
You can substitute other toppings like toffee bits or mini M&Ms.
Make sure the apples are completely dry before slicing to prevent watery nachos.
