Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret first into the flour mixture, then into the milk, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Arrange the coated cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. While the tots are air frying, whisk together the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl.
  8. Once the cauliflower tots are cooked, transfer them to the bowl with the buffalo sauce mixture and toss gently to coat.
  9. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For an extra spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake these tots in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
