Ingredients
Scale
4 cups cranberry juice (100% juice or blend)
2 cups ginger ale or ginger beer (non-alcoholic)
1 cup sparkling water or club soda
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
Fresh cranberries for garnish
Lime slices or wheels for garnish
Fresh ginger slices for garnish
Instructions
Chill all liquids thoroughly before mixing.
In a large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice and fresh lime juice.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in the maple syrup until dissolved.
Just before serving, gently add the chilled ginger ale and sparkling water to the pitcher. Stir very gently to combine, avoiding loss of fizz.
Fill individual glasses with ice.
Pour the mocktail mixture into the glasses.
Garnish each glass with a few fresh cranberries, a lime slice, and a thin slice of fresh ginger.
Notes
For an extra ginger kick, you can muddle a few thin slices of fresh ginger in the bottom of the pitcher before adding liquids.
Taste the cranberry juice first; if it is already sweet, omit the maple syrup.
You can substitute ginger ale with a low-sugar ginger beer for a sharper bite.
