Create a refreshing and Instagram-worthy frozen rosé slushy with this simple recipe. Perfect for a warm day!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry rosé wine, chilled
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar, or to taste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional garnishes: fresh berries, mint sprigs, lemon slices

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Let the simple syrup cool completely.
  2. Pour the chilled rosé wine into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
  3. Once the rosé is frozen, transfer the rosé ice cubes to a blender.
  4. Add the cooled simple syrup to the blender.
  5. Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
  6. Pour the frozen rosé slushy into glasses.
  7. Garnish with fresh berries, mint sprigs, or lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a less sweet slushy, reduce or omit the simple syrup.
  • Experiment with different types of rosé for varied flavors.
  • You can prepare the rosé ice cubes in advance and store them in a freezer bag.
