Make a refreshing, perfectly blended frozen strawberry daiquiri using rum, fresh strawberries, and lime juice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz Granulated Sugar (or simple syrup)
  • 1.5 cups Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine the white rum, fresh lime juice, sugar, frozen strawberries, and ice cubes in a high-speed blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, slushy consistency. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides once.
  3. Taste the mixture. Add a small amount more sugar if you prefer it sweeter, or a splash more lime juice for tartness, and blend again briefly.
  4. Pour the mixture immediately into a chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a lime wheel or a fresh strawberry slice on the rim.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, use simple syrup instead of granulated sugar; dissolve 0.75 oz of simple syrup before blending.
  • If you do not have fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries without adding extra ice.
  • Use a light or gold rum for the most traditional flavor. For a richer taste, try an aged rum.
  • To make a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add 1 oz of water or club soda.
