Assorted fresh fruit for topping (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Press the refrigerated sugar cookie dough evenly onto a 12-inch pizza pan or a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let the cookie crust cool completely on the pan.
While the crust cools, prepare the frosting: Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk together until smooth and creamy.
Once the crust is completely cool, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cookie base.
Arrange your sliced fresh fruit decoratively over the frosting layer.
Chill the fruit pizza for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For mini fruit pizzas, use pre-made cookie dough circles or cut the dough into small rounds before baking.
Pat any very wet fruit, like pineapple, dry with a paper towel before placing it on the frosting.
You can substitute Greek yogurt for some of the milk in the frosting for a slightly tangier flavor.
