Ingredients
Scale
4 Salmon Fillets (about 6 oz each)
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1/4 cup Fresh Orange Juice
2 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)
1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Orange Zest
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and orange zest to create the glaze.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush half of the glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining glaze over the salmon.
Serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe works well with skin-on or skinless salmon fillets.
For extra freshness, garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives before serving.
If you prefer a thicker glaze, you can simmer the leftover glaze briefly on the stovetop until slightly reduced.
