This no-bake Oreo Pie recipe delivers a rich, creamy filling and a crunchy chocolate cookie crust. It is a simple, quick dessert perfect for parties or warm weather when you want something decadent without turning on the oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs (about 30 cookies)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (or equivalent homemade whipped cream)
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter together in a bowl until the crumbs are evenly moistened.
  2. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  3. Make the creamy filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain. Be careful not to deflate the whipped topping.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup of the crushed Oreo cookies into the filling mixture.
  6. Spoon the creamy filling evenly into the chilled Oreo crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of crushed Oreo cookies over the top of the pie for garnish.
  8. Chill the Oreo Pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until firm. For best results, chill overnight.
  9. Slice and serve this easy Oreo Pie cold.

Notes

  • For an even richer chocolate flavor, use chocolate pudding mix in place of the powdered sugar and cream cheese for a variation of this cookies and cream pie.
  • If you are short on time, you can use a pre-made graham cracker or Oreo crust.
  • This recipe works well as a make-ahead party dessert since it must be chilled before serving.
