Ingredients
Scale
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, tempered
1/2 cup peppermint candy canes, crushed
1/4 cup hot cocoa mix
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
Melt the tempered chocolate slowly.
Brush a thin, even layer of chocolate inside silicone sphere molds. Chill until set.
Repeat the chocolate coating process for a second, thicker layer. Chill completely.
Gently remove the chocolate shells from the molds.
Fill half the shells with hot cocoa mix, crushed peppermint, and mini marshmallows.
Warm the edges of the empty shell halves slightly.
Place the filled halves onto the empty halves to seal, creating a full sphere.
Decorate the outside with extra melted chocolate drizzle and crushed peppermint.
Notes
Tempering chocolate correctly gives the best shine and snap.
You can substitute dark or milk chocolate for semi-sweet.
Use high-quality hot cocoa mix for the best flavor inside.
