Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. Gently press the puff pastry into a tart pan or a small baking dish. Trim any excess pastry.
  4. In a medium bowl, whip the softened goat cheese with the heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in the chopped fresh rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the goat cheese mixture evenly into the prepared tart shell.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the filling is heated through.
  8. Let the tart cool slightly before garnishing with fresh rosemary sprigs.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute cream cheese for goat cheese if preferred.
  • Add a drizzle of honey before serving for a touch of sweetness.
  • For a more robust flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the goat cheese mixture.
