Experience the rich, bold flavor of Vietnamese Iced Coffee, a perfect sweet pick-me-up. This recipe layers strong coffee with sweetened condensed milk over ice for a delightful treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup dark roast coffee grounds
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee: Use a Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) or your preferred brewing method to brew 1/4 cup of strong coffee. If using a phin, add coffee grounds, gently press the filter, and pour hot water over it. Let it drip slowly into a glass.
  2. Add condensed milk: Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the glass with the brewed coffee.
  3. Stir well: Stir the coffee and condensed milk together until fully combined.
  4. Add ice: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour and serve: Pour the coffee and condensed milk mixture over the ice. Stir gently and enjoy your delicious Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use more coffee grounds or a darker roast.
  • Adjust the amount of condensed milk to your preferred sweetness.
  • You can also use a French press or espresso machine to brew the coffee if you don’t have a phin.
